INTERNATIONAL ELECTRONIC & ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS
IEEE stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, formed in 1963 through the merger of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Radio Engineers, the organization now encompasses over 500,000 members across more than 160 countries. While its historical roots are in electrical and electronics engineering, IEEE’s scope has broadened significantly to cover computer science, telecommunications, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, and aerospace.
